Thank You for Your Enthusiasm and Involvement in the Core Arts Salon

Rebecca Rendell   - MA Fine Art Chelsea College 2012/13
Dear all,
we would like to thank you for your enthusiasm and involvement in the Core Arts salon event that we held on Friday evening. We really enjoyed hearing you present your work, getting to meet you properly and the discussions that followed.

It was somewhat of a challenge to run the timetable of activities in the way we wanted to, as not everything went to plan (which often happens when you are collaborating with external multi functioning space and partners) but we think everyone managed very well, even with the beginning background noise of sound checks and so on! We hope that you enjoyed the informal and relaxed style of the salon event which is a way that we like to engage with you and your work, including external contacts.

We are in the planning stages for more salon events in a range of different spaces across London which will be geared towards work that is digital/ film for example, performance and painting. We are also working on an event that will involve students from other MA courses (curating and art theory) at the college, perhaps involving responding to a text or other catalyst....

We will be working towards creating a new website soon as well, but in the meantime please check our blog site chelseasalonseries.blogspot.co.uk where we will post the showreel and photos from the Core Arts salon event.

If you are on Facebook then please join our group called Chelsea Salon Series which you can search for.
